The designer of this pool very carefully planned the placement of the swimming pool to overlook the ocean and made the pool just large enough that it doesn’t seem overwhelmed by the waters beyond.

Notice that the landscaping around the swimming pool doesn’t distract from the feeling of connectedness with the water beyond. The use of textured tiles surrounding the pool continues this very natural feel – only the railings that lead into the main body of the swimming pool stand out as being a part of the construction and separate from nature.

Subdued color and lighting in the swimming pool creates a feeling of calm. The perfect circles of the pool and the hot tub are softened by the more abstract, freeform tiled areas of decking.
