This inground swimming pool picture shows the type of luxury that can be achieved with the proper and thoughtful design of a swimming pool. The angle from which this pool picture was taken highlights the hot tub and shows the actual swimming pool as a framework for the keyhole design of the hot tub. Even without the exotic background seen in the landscaping and architecture, this pool setup is a perfect example of the sophistication a well-designed swimming pool can achieve.

The walkway to the hot tub uses the same style of rough cut tiling stones as the border of the swimming pool. The use of the smaller, loose stones creates a separation from the tub and the pool, isolating the relaxation area from the swimming area. On the left hand side of the swimming pool picture is a railing that leads down into another area of the pool complex and uses the vegetation of the landscaping to separate it from the main swimming pool.

This free form, beautifully designed pool area may be beyond the reach of most swimming pool owners, but the picture is a great example of what can be achieved with the creative layout and planning of a pool area and the uses of contrasting types of stones and tile.
