Photos of inground swimming pool designs inspire your own project. Enjoy the pictures!

This picture of a swimming pool is a great example of tying the swimming pool design to the overall design of the house and other features that surround it. Although the shape of this swimming pool is strongly geometric and has very sharp angles, it can still be described as a free-form swimming pool simply because it doesn’t follow the traditional rectangular pool.
The dark yellow edges of the swimming pool match the color of the house exactly and even the pool’s water is a deep enough blue to mirror the design of the home’s trim work. Note in this swimming pool picture that the swimming pool does not make use of the standard tiles that surround most pools. Instead, the edges have been poured in solid sections. This helps maintain the flow of the swimming pools edges even though the overall pool design is sharply angular.
A simple set of steps lead down into the water of the pool. Note that this swimming pool design does not include handrails and the picture of the swimming pool suggests that the water is an even depth with no shallow areas. These factors suggest that this swimming pool design is not child friendly and its use should be restricted to adult swimmers.
