This is a picture of a rather plain swimming pool that seems a bit boring at first glance, but on the second look it shows a well organized and creative swimming pool that makes great use of a somewhat limited space. In this picture the pool seems to be a uniform depth and the fact that there are no steps or railings at the edges suggest that the water is not very deep. The possible purpose of this swimming pool is for exercise, but the builder also included a rather large lounging area at the right side of the picture that gives the pool a relaxing element as well.

What’s really exceptional about this swimming pool is the use of wooden decking instead of tiles to surround the pool. The decking matches the wall of the house shown in the left side of the picture where a protruding shelf offers a number of rustic light fixtures to illuminate swimming pool at night. These lights seem to be the only illumination because the swimming pool appears not to have lighting in the pool itself.

There may be a separate hot tub area beyond the swimming pool, although it’s hard to be sure in this pool picture.
