This choppy water contrasts nicely with the calm feeling that the other elements of the swimming pool provide with a combination of colors, smooth tiled areas and the color of the water itself.

The stark white steps leading into the pool are smooth and help to set off the bright blue of the pool’s water. Uniform stone tiles at the edge of the pool make a smooth transition from the pool to the rougher stone tiles of the seating and walking area. The round fire pit at the right of the picture will lend even more of a natural setting when a fire is burning – again, a contrast to the other smooth features of the swimming pool. The semi-wild plants in the landscaping continue this theme without being overwhelming and taking away the balanced ambiance.
